About the event
Trunk-or-treating is a community-driven alternative to trick-or-treating. Parents, guardians, community members, and organizations come together, often in a parking lot, to open their trunks and distribute candy as children walk from car to car. Participants typically decorate their trunks with scenes and themes, such as pumpkin patches, Noah’s Ark, or coffee shops.
Trunk-or-Treat has three goals: (1) create Christ-encounters for the unchurched and unsaved and those who need to recommit to Christ and reengage with the church, (2) deepen camaraderie between ministries, and (3) unite the church in serving children and their families.
